Egypt’s FM heads to Greece to follow up on electricity linkage project

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry travel to the Greek capital, Athens, to discuss the bilateral ties and follow up on the progress made in implementing the electrical interconnection project between Egypt and Greece, said Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid in a statement on Monday.

The visit will also shed light on regional and international developments, Abu Zeid added, noting that Shoukry will meet with the Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias.

Shoukry will also meet with Dimitrios Copelouzos, the founding Chairman and Managing Director of the Copelouzos Group, to follow up on the progress made in implementing the electrical interconnection project between Egypt and Greece.
