Egypt braces for temperature rollercoaster until next Wednesday

Egypt is set to experience a fluctuation in temperatures from hot daytime to chilly nights until next Wednesday, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).

The North Coast will be moderately warm during the day while Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and Northern Upper Egypt will be moderately hot.

However, the weather will be hotter throughout the 6-day timeframe deep in Upper Egypt.

In contrast, the northern regions of the country, including Greater Cairo and Northern Upper Egypt, will experience cold nighttime weather, while South Sinai and Southern Upper Egypt will have moderately cold nighttime weather.

The EMA has also forecasted morning mist on roads from and leading to Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, Suez Canal cities, Central Sinai, and Northern Upper Egypt from Friday through Monday.

Strong winds are expected in different regions throughout the period, with Greater Cairo experiencing sporadic windy weather on Saturday and Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Northwestern Coast will see strong winds from Saturday through Wednesday, with a chance of dust on Monday and Tuesday due to the wind.

The EMA advises citizens to take precautions during this temperature fluctuation period, especially during the nighttime when the weather is expected to be chilly.
