The Egyptian Minister of Social
Solidarity Nevine Qabbag signed a memorandum of understanding with Director of
International Institute for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM)
Maurizio Raeli to carry out joint development initiatives.
The MOU calls for organizing training courses and research activities along with exchanging experiences and information in regional development in accordance with action policies of the Egyptian government.
The MoU is part of Social Solidarity Ministry’s efforts to provide social safety networks for the neediest segments in society through supporting and protecting poor families and low-income brackets.
The two sides agreed on co-operating in education and youth employment and implementing more projects to develop rural and coastal areas and empower women economically.
