Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El Sisi led on Wednesday the funeral ceremony for former chief-of-staff of the country's Armed Forces Abd-Rab El-Nabi Hafez and former commander of the Second Field Army Abdel-Monem Khalil, who died earlier in the day.
The funeral ceremony was held at Cairo's Mosheer Tantawy Mosque in the eastern outskirts of the Egyptian capital.
The funeral was attended by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Defense Minister Mohamed Zaki, and the leaders of the army's main branches.
