President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi congratulated Ms. Giorgia Meloni for assuming the post of Italian Prime Minister, said the Egyptian Presidency in a statement on Sunday.
“I would like to congratulate Ms. Giorgia Meloni for assuming her role as Italy's prime minister, wishing her success in leading Italy towards a future that befits its civilization and history,” President Sisi said in a Telegram.
I would also like to invite Ms. Meloni to participate in the World Climate Summit (COP27) in Sharm El-Sheikh city next month, as I am confident that the Italian republic is capable of playing a positive and constructive role during the upcoming summit.
