President Sisi witnesses swearing-in of Egypt's new 13 ministers

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi witnessed on Sunday the swearing-in of Egypt's 13 new ministers in the cabinet of Mustafa Madbouli, the premier since 2018, at the presidential palace in the New Alamein city.

“The president urged the new ministers to show impartiality, objectivity and dedication, consolidate the principle of efficiency, and to make the utmost effort as a consistent management approach to advance the nation's interest in the first place,” Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said in a statement.

This is in light of the huge responsibility that those ministers bear due to the international changes that impacted the world, including Egypt, and imposed multiple challenges that require continuous diligent work with a strong and tireless will, El-Sisi added in a meeting with the new ministers.

The president stressed to the ministers the importance of regular communication with citizens to provide them with the best services within the field of each ministry.

He also called for spreading and deepening public awareness of the international, regional, and domestic challenges facing the state as well as the efforts, achievements, and current developments taking place within the framework of the comprehensive development witnessed by Egypt across its governorates.

El-Sisi urged the ministers to accurately understand the tools and capacities of their ministries and related institutions and authorities, the statement said.

The president affirmed the importance of managing these tools and capacities well to maximize outcomes and develop work mechanisms to ensure maximum possible benefits and returns.

El-Sisi also called for the ministers to pay close attention to the efficiency of the implementation mechanisms as a decisive factor in order for the planned work to succeed and become a reality on the ground.

For his part, PM Madbouli affirmed the determination of the new ministers to work with full potential to build on the achievements made.

Madbouli also stressed keenness to ensure coordination and harmony among ministries, all different state sectors, and agencies in a way that achieves the optimal implementation of the state’s programs and plans.
