EMA warns: Bad weather will hit Egypt in the coming days

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority warned of the weather in the coming days, as the country will experience a noticeable drop in temperatures of 6C degrees on Thursday. There will be rain of varying intensities, sometimes heavy.

 

Meteorologists called on citizens to adhere to winter clothes.

 

Meteorologists said that during the period until Sunday, the country will be exposed to light to medium rainfall on the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt.

 

This may sometimes be heavy on (Matrouh and Salloum). With the progress of day, rains will be less severe on inland parts, and may lightly reach areas of Greater Cairo in the evening.

 

EMA said that the expected weather from Tuesday until Sunday will be warm during the day in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, warm on the northern coasts, hot on southern Upper Egypt, and very cold at night in all parts.

 

As of Thursday, March 10, a decrease in temperatures throughout the country, with about 4: 6C degrees.

 

A Chance of light rain in areas of southern Lower Egypt, Sinai, and southern Red Sea mountains, which may extend in the evening to areas of Greater Cairo at intermittent periods.

 

Wind activity on areas of the northern coasts that blow up sand and dust on areas of the Western Desert at intermittent periods.
