To raise the level of training and exchange of experiences between the Egyptian Army and the US forces, the navies of the two countries carried out maritime training within the scope of the Northern Fleet, said the Egyptian Ministry of defense in a statement.
The drills were conducted with the participation of the helicopter carrier Gamal Abdel Nasser and the frigate Al-Galala with the US destroyer USS DELBERT D. BLACK, the statement added.
The naval forces carried out various activities and training on training on maintaining maritime security against threats that may affect the flow of global trade and freedom of international navigation.
