Egypt is anticipating its first wave
of unstable weather and probable rainfall during this fall starting Saturday,
according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).
This comes as the country is affected
by a shallow depression on the Mediterranean accompanied by an air depression
in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
This would cause rain of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied with thunder, in the north of the country starting tomorrow night.
The authority forecasts light to medium rain in the northern part of the country during the coming days.
This includes probable light rainfall on Friday in the northeastern coasts and light to moderate rainfall in the southern part of Lower Egypt on Saturday.
Medium rains, probably accompanied with thunder, are also expected during Saturday night in the northwestern coasts and the northern part of Lower Egypt.
On Sunday, medium rainfall is expected in the northern coasts and Lower Egypt. On Tuesday, the EMA expects light to medium rainfall in the northwestern coasts.
