Egypt lifts all COVID-19-related restrictions on arrivals

The Supreme Committee for the Management of the Epidemiology and Health Pandemic Crisis in Egypt decided to lift all COVID-related entry restrictions for all travelers, either Egyptians or foreigners.

This was decided during the committee’s meeting under Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli and in the presence of a host of ministers and high-level officials.

During the meeting, Acting Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar reviewed the latest developments regarding the coronavirus pandemic.

Furthermore, Abdel Ghaffar said that 86.6 million doses of coronavirus vaccines have been given to Egyptian citizens, noting that there are currently 57.5 million vaccine doses available for use.

He, meanwhile, reviewed the health ministry’s measures to prevent monkey pox infection.
