COVID-19 has not ended in Egypt but cases are mild, no deaths reported

Advisor to the Egyptian President of the Republic for Health Affairs, Dr. Awad Tag El-Din, said that the novel Coronavirus has not ended, stressing that as long as the epidemic exists, there is fluctuation in the number of cases and their severity, and whenever a type of new mutation occurs, it is less severe than before.

 

Dr. Awad Tag El-Din added that COVID-19 cases in Egypt have been controlled, and the cases detected are mild, stressing that so far Egypt has recorded zero deaths from Corona, adding that the country is still implementing precautionary measures to avoid the virus spread.

 

Earlier, Dr. Muhammad Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs, indicated that there are many types of viruses that can be transmitted to humans through animals, saying: “There is no concern about such viruses.”

 

Dr. Awad Tag El-Din added that he is worried about the presence of animals or birds in the house unless there is regular follow-up and care for them, with those suffering from allergies should be staying away from birds and animals.
