Cairo Governor witnesses Conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs

Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal witnessed Saturday the 32nd Conference of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi under the title “Citizenship and its effect on Achieving World Community Peace.”

 

The two-day conference, chaired by Egypt’s Minister of Endowment Dr. Mokhtar Gomaa, discussed the role of citizenship in achieving World and community peace in the presence of ministers, scholars, Muftis, and leaders from 41 countries.

 

Moreover, the conference included discussions on the topics of the development of the concept of state, the citizenship contract controls, the citizenship contract between rights and duties, religious tolerance, the position of women in the state, citizenship contract and social protection, and citizenship contract commitment and its effect on achieving World peace.

 

It also discussed the importance of consolidating the culture of coexistence and turning it into public culture.
