Cairo Governor inspects Zahraa El-Maadi expansion works

Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal inspected Thursday the ongoing expansion works at Zahraa El-Maadi Street, which is part of the state’s plan to develop several roads in this area to link the Autostrad and Zahraa El-Maadi Axes with the Kafrawi Axis.

Abdel Aal asserted that the development is part of the state’s efforts to connect the axes of South and East Cairo to ease traffic congestion in the capital.

Moreover, Abdel Aal followed up the relocation of the street’s trees with the latest equipment from Cairo’s Cleaning and Beautification Authority, adding that all the relocated trees and palms would be planted in another place to preserve and protect Cairo’s trees.

During his inspection of the new garbage vacuum trucks, Abdel Aal stressed the need to continue maximizing the resources of the Cairo Cleaning and Beautification Authority and taking advantage of the authority’s special cadres to show the capital’s historical and civilized features.

Abdel Aal was accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Eng. Jihan Abdel Moneim, Assistant Secretary-General Ibrahim Awad, Head of Cairo Cleaning and Beautification Authority Ihab El-Shershaby, Chief of Maadi district Ahmed Gouda, and several executives of the Cairo governorate.
