Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel stressed
the necessity to adhere to deadlines of the investment plan projects and the
need to be integrated with the national project so that the citizens can
benefit from the achievements of the capital.
That came during the meeting held by
the governor to discuss the Cairo governorate’s investment plan for 2022/2023
and the measures to implement it.
The meeting was attended by deputies Cairo Governor for the west, east, and north areas, Secretary-General, Assistant Secretary-General, officials of the governorate’s executive authorities, and districts’ chiefs.
During the meeting, Abdel Aal asserted that the plan was made after studying the neediest neighborhoods in coordination with the House of Representatives and the Senate, given they are representatives of citizens.
Abdel Aal also urged districts chiefs to coordinate with civil society to provide the best services to citizens.
Moreover, Abdel Aal said that technical
committees were formed to oversee the implementation of the investment plan to ensure
its quality and compliance with technical specifications.
