Cairo Gov. urges to reduce government buildings lighting

In light of Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli's directives to rationalize energy consumption at government buildings, the Cairo governorate has intensified its efforts to use less electricity at all affiliated government buildings.

Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal urged all Cairo governorate-affiliated bodies to take all measures needed to rationalize power consumption and switch off all unnecessary power sources after working hours.

Moreover, Abdel Aal directed district chiefs to turn off the external lighting of government buildings.
