Cold weather to prevail across Egypt until Saturday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority expects that Tuesday to Saturday will see cold weather during the day on Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts and northern Upper Egypt.

 

Warmer temperatures are predicted on South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, and very cold weather at night on all parts, with frost on central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.

 

On Tuesday, mist is predicted from four am to eight am on some roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the Suez Canal cities, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, as well as light to moderate rain at night on areas of the northern coasts at intermittent intervals. Winds will be active on areas of the western coasts intermittently.


Wednesday sees a 40-50 percent chance of intermittent moderate rainfall at the northern coasts and Lower Egypt. Active winds are predicted through Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts and South Sinai at intermittent intervals.


Mists are predicted from four am to eight am on some roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the Suez Canal cities, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.


On Friday and Saturday, mists are predicted from four am to eight am on some roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the Suez Canal cities, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt. Active winds are predicted across the North and South Sinai coasts.

 

Maximum temperatures for Tuesday in greater Cairo and Lower Egypt is 15C.
