Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal and Minister of Awqaf
Dr. Mohammad Mokhtar Gomaa witnessed the inauguration of the Sayeda Fatma
El-Nabawia Mosque in the Darb Al-Ahmar neighbourhood after renovation in the
presence of Deputy Cairo Governor Ibrahim Abdel Hadi, President of the Ashraf
Syndicate Mahmoud El-Sherif, and Secretary-General of the Religious Affairs
Committee in the House of Representative Dr. Mohammad Abu Hashem.
The renovation work comes as part of the cooperation protocol signed between the Ministry of Awqaf, the Ashraf Syndicate, and the Mosque Development Foundation to renovate Ahl El-Bayt (family of Prophet Mohammad) mosques across Cairo. The renovation work cost about 6 million Egyptian pounds.
