Meteorologists anticipate very hot and humid weather during the daytime today in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, Upper Egypt, South Sinai and Red Sea Mountains.
Hot, humid weather is still expected across most parts of the country during night and early morning hours, while moderately hot and humid on the northern coasts and central Sinai.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority
advised people not to be exposed to direct sunlight, not to sit in poor ventilated
places, to drink cold drinks, and to wear cotton clothes and a head covering
when going out to the street.

Active winds are expected occasionally on some parts of the country.
High humidity will increase the feel of heat by two to four degrees. Light mists expected on Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, northeastern coasts and central Sinai.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate ranging between one and 1.5 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height with northwestern surface winds.
