The seminar is part of the Cairo governorate’s efforts to raise awareness about the importance of the initiative and promote some proposed projects from participating parties. It discussed the initiative’s objectives, criteria, requirements for participation, and targeted categories.
Moreover, the seminar shed light on the initiative’s expected effect on the local society, tackling climate change, and using technology in application.
Earlier, Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal has called on individuals, companies, and institutions to participate in the smart green projects initiative and register via the initiative’s website from August 21 to September 7.
Abdel Aal also asserted that the initiative comes in line with the state’s efforts to achieve sustainable development goals and implement Egypt’s strategy 2030 to improve the quality of life for future generations.
