The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on Wednesday with Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli, Presidential Advisor for Urban Planning Amir Sayyed Ahmed, Head of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority Hisham Swefi, and Director of Egypt Future National Project for Agricultural Production Bahaa El Ghannam.
Presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said the meeting is part of the president’s efforts to follow up on the work progress in the national project for agricultural production and its main axes to accommodate the anticipated urban planning in the New Delta due to its vast size in terms of reclaimed lands and the volume of trade expected in the area.
According to the spokesman, the president reviewed the land reclamation project in the governorates of Minya and Beni Suef as well as the green houses complex in Lahon area in Fayyoum.
