The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) announced that some parts of Egypt will continue to witness temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s till Friday, as the heat wave that started last week persists.
The EMA stated that throughout the week Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta, Upper Egypt, and South Sinai will see high temperatures during the day and moderate temperatures at night.
Greater Cairo and the Nile Delta are expected to see highs ranging from 35 to 37 degrees Celsius and lows of 23 degrees from Sunday till Friday, according to the EMA.
