Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Osama Askar met on Tuesday with Malawi's Army Chief Vincent Nundwe and his accompanying delegation in Cairo where they discussed military cooperation between the two countries.
According to the Egyptian Armed Forces, this meeting came within the framework of the first meeting of the Egyptian-Malawian military committee to tackle aspects of cooperation and exchange expertise between the two sides.
Nundwe lauded Egypt's intensive efforts to support stability and security in all African countries.
Askar, for his part, asserted the two countries have identical visions toward the security threats and challenges that the region faces, adding the talks meet the two sides' aspirations for further cooperation.
