Cairo Governor to hold big celebration next Friday

In the framework of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s Decent Life Initiative, Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal will organize a big celebration next Friday, September 23, to help 400 brides furnish their new homes in coordination with civil society.

Abdel Aal said that it is the highest number of brides that the governorate has helped, noting that they will be given all electrical devices, some furnishings, and kitchen appliances.

That came during the executive board meeting held at the Cairo governorate in the presence of deputy governors, Secretary-General, Assistant Secretary-General, directors of service directorates, several officials, and members of the Senate and House of Representatives.

During the meeting, Abdel Aal added that the state would expand food outlets in light of the current global economic crisis to balance the prices in the market, pointing out that all food commodities and citizens’ needs are available at affordable prices and high quality.

Moreover, Abdel Aal said that the governorate plans to organize more trade fairs in cooperation with civil society as well as establish street markets like El-Obour Market.

Abdel Aal also stressed the need to intensify crackdowns on markets and outlets to ensure the availability of food commodities and to prevent price hikes.

Furthermore, Abdel Aal pointed out that the state’s endeavor to create an integrated community for the residents of the informal settlements following the directives of the political leadership has become a reality after implementing several new housing projects like the Asmarat, Ahalina, and Rawdet El-Sayeda projects.
