King Abdullah affirms to Sisi Jordan's solidarity with Egypt

In a phone call with President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi on Sunday, Jordanian King Abdullah II expressed his country’s solidarity with Egypt in face of terrorism.

 

According to Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady, King Abdullah extended condolences to the Egyptian president and the Egyptian people over the death of 11 Egyptian armed forces personnel in the recent terrorist attack.

 

The king also wished the personnel injured during the attack a speedy recovery.

 

President El-Sisi expressed his appreciation for King Abdullah’s generous gesture, which reflects the strength and durability of historical relations between the two countries.

 

El-Sisi wished the Jordanian government and people continued stability and peace.

 

The king's gesture comes as numerous world leaders and international and Arab Organisations also condoled Egypt over the deaths of soldiers and expressed their solidarity with Cairo in its war against terrorism.
