The Egyptian Meteorological Authority warned of rain and active wind on Thursday, amid volatile autumn weather, until the middle of next week.
Active wind is predicted on Thursday in the far west of the country, stirring sand and dust at intermittent intervals.
Hot weather is expected to prevail during the day in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, northern Upper Egypt and South Sinai.
Warmer temperatures are expected in southern Upper Egypt, while cold weather is expected at night in all parts.
Maximum temperature predicted on Thursday in Greater Cairo: 25C.
