The State Ministry for Military Production is keen on continuing fruitful cooperation with the Belarusian side in the various manufacturing spheres, and enhancing prospects for cooperation with Belarusian companies, affirmed Minister Mohamed Salah El-Din Mustafa.
During his meeting with Belarusian Ambassador to Egypt Sergei Terentiev to discuss bilateral cooperation, Mustafa reviewed his ministry's strategy to boost the local industry between the two sides through the existing cooperation between the ministry's companies and numerous Belarusian companies in the various spheres.
The ministry cooperates with Belarusian Maz company in the production of trucks, Minsk Motor Plant in the manufacturing of diesel engines and Minsk Tractor Works in tractor manufacturing, he went on to say.
He underlined the need of increasing
the percentage of the local components for the Belarusian products, which are
manufactured at the military production companies.
For his part, the Belarusian
ambassador hailed the outstanding organization of the 2022 United Nations
Climate Change Conference, COP27.
The ambassador added that the meeting touched on the possibility of opening up new prospects for cooperation, especially in the digital transformation.
