Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi congratulated on Monday President Lula da Silva on his election as President of Brazil, inviting him to participate in the UN Climate Change Conference (COP27) in Sharm El Sheikh city.
Presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said that El-Sisi wishes Da Silva all success in realizing the people of Brazil's aspirations for development and prosperity.
“I believe that Brazil is able to play a positive and constructive role during this upcoming summit to promote climate action at the international level,” El-Sisi said.
Furthermore, President Sisi asserted that Egypt is looking forward to cooperating with Da Silva to consolidate the distinguished bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in various fields.
