The Egyptian Meteorological Authority warned against weather fluctuations until Tuesday March 22.
Temperatures will rise on Thursday, before dropping again on Monday March 21 in the north of the country between 2C and 4C.
Cold weather will prevail, starting Monday: with Cairo recording 19C during the day and 9C at night.
Temperatures are expected to rise from Thursday until Sunday before dropping again on Monday.
The authority expected moderate weather to prevail during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and northern Upper Egypt on Thursday.
Cold temperatures are predicted on the northern coasts, warm temperatures on South Sinai and hot weather on southern Upper Egypt.
Very cold temperatures are predicted at night in all parts.
Mist is predicted in the early hours of the morning from 4 am to 8 am on highways close to water channels, leading to and from Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coast.
Maximum temperatures predicted on Thursday: Greater Cairo 19C.
