President Abdel Fatal al-Sisi checked on Wednesday samples of armored vehicles that were developed by the Vehicles Department of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady pointed out that the vehicles can be used for different purposes, and are equipped to take part in operations pertinent to combating terrorism and securing the elements of the Armed Forces and police.
The president was informed about the plan set to develop equipment and vehicles in a way that is compatible with the missions carried out by the Egyptian Army.
The plan was presented by Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki, Chief of Staff Mohamed Farid, and Commander of the Vehicles Department Kamal Wafaei.
