Parts of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coast, the Suez Canal cities, and Sinai are expected to see dusty winds that may evolve into sandstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Dusty winds may also be seen in northern Upper Egypt and the western coast on Tuesday and southern Egypt on Wednesday, reducing vision on desert roads and open areas, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).
The expected wind is the result of an air depression over the Mediterranean, the EMA said, adding that the wind speed is expected to decrease slightly at night.
There is also a chance of mild rainfall in parts of the far west of the country on Tuesday and in the southern Delta on Wednesday, the EMA said.
The northern coast and northern Delta may also see moderate rainfall on Tuesday.
The unstable weather will mostly be in the north of the country down to northern Upper Egypt.
According to the EMA, Greater Cairo will see highs ranging from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius from Tuesday to Sunday, with lows of 13 to 15 degrees.
