Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli will head to the Jordanian capital, Amman, to attend the 29th session of the joint Higher Jordanian-Egyptian Committee, according to a statement from Jordanian State Minister for Media Affairs Sakher Dudin on Saturday.
"Holding these meetings, despite the exceptional health conditions that the world is going through, reflects the two countries’ determination and mutual eagerness to strengthen and advance bilateral relations, implement inter-cooperation projects in various fields, and maintain bilateral coordination on all that would serve the two brotherly countries and peoples," Dudin was quoted by the Jordanian news agency (Petra).
Technical teams from both countries have started their two-day meetings on Saturday to discuss the technical aspects of the agenda for the meeting of the committee, he said, adding predatory meetings between the two countries were held in Cairo over the past few weeks.
In addition to this, he said Jordan will host follow-up and coordination meetings that came under the tripartite cooperation mechanism between Jordan, Egypt, and Iraq, on Wednesday.
