Egypt reported 902 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, bringing the total infection tally officially to 363,162 since the outbreak began in February 2020.
The Egyptian Health Ministry in its daily coronavirus update statement reported 45 new deaths in the past 24 hours nationwide, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 20,727.
The statement added that 871 patients have been discharged from hospitals after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 301,308.
