Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal held his first meeting with the newly-elected members of Egypt's House of Representatives in the Cairo governorate.
At the beginning of his meeting, Abdel Aal
greeted and congratulated the new members of Egypt's House of Representatives
on assuming their new positions.
Moreover, the governor lauded the role of the parliament's members in regulating and upholding the ongoing reforms and development and their commitment to support the law.
Abdel Aal also greeted the former members for their great efforts and hard work during the previous legislative term.
Furthermore, the governor asserted his confidence that the House of Representatives' agenda would express the interests of our country and citizens and would be based on democracy and freedom of expression to consolidate gains for those seek reform.
At the end of the meeting, Abdel Aal assured that all the governorate's authorities and bodies would support the new members to provide a better service to citizens and establish the new foundations of our modern state under the wise leadership of the president.
