Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal and Executive Director of the National Training Academy Rasha Ragheb witnessed Tuesday the graduation ceremony of a new batch of Diwani Kofaa Program at the headquarter of the academy, including 58 trainees from Cairo governorate employees aged from 30 to 45 years old.
Diwani Kofaa Program
launched by the NTA aims to prepare and qualify human cadres to accomplish their
responsibilities and improve their abilities in leadership, public policy, and
technology.
During the ceremony, Abdel Aal praised the role of the academy as a national institution that was able to gain a good reputation locally and globally because of the effort of its employees and workers.
Abdel Aal also hailed the academy's great efforts to improve the performance of the state's administrative apparatus employees to raise their awareness and enhance their experience, thus contributing to the ongoing development process. It will also help to improve their personal and managing skills.
Moreover, Abdel Aal emphasized that there is active cooperation between the Cairo governorate and the academy in many fields. He added that the applicants must pass the leadership competitions held by the governorate and personality tests of the academy to assume leadership positions.
The governor further said that the program is part of a protocol signed between the Cairo governorate and the NTA in line with the political leadership's instructions to improve the state's administrative apparatus and the governorate's keenness to enhance the human element skills and empower youth to improve the services provided to citizens.
The governor pointed out that the academy offers a variety of training programs to the employees of the Cairo governorate and its affiliated directorates, including current trends in human resources management, cyber security, globalization, project management, effective strategic planning, and teamwork management.
Furthermore, the governor hailed the trainees who passed the first course and proved their keenness to improve their skills and abilities through their serious interaction during the training. He also asked the trainees to apply what they have learned and to pass it to their colleagues to help make a difference in the workplace.
The governor added that the
governorate would expand the training programs by the signed protocol with the
NTA, as training is one of the key mechanisms of improving employees'
efficiency.
For her part, Dr. Rasha Ragheb welcomed the
governor, asserting that the Cairo governorate is one of the pioneering institutions
that participated in the Diwani Kofaa Program. She added that the academy
training programs are designed to meet the goals and needs of different
institutions and authorities.
