Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal attended on Sunday, February 28, the meeting of the newly-formed board of directors of Cairo's Cleaning and Beautification Authority.
During the meeting, Abdel Aal expressed his appreciation to the staff of Cairo's Cleaning Authority, assuring that the workers' great efforts are praised by all state officials.
Moreover, the governor paid tribute to workers who
died while fulfilling their duty, stressing the necessity to continue
supporting their families.
The governor also called for society's participation in
cleaning and beautification and urged citizens to preserve the work done by the
cleaning authority.
The board meeting, attended by Cairo governorate's Secretary-General Mohammad Hanfy, Assistant Secretary-General Ibrahim Aw, Head of Cairo's Cleaning Authority Ihab El-Shershabi, members of the board and districts' chiefs, reviewed the work of the previous period and the authority's needs to improve its services.
At the end of the meeting, the board of directors granted the authority's shield to the governor.
