President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Friday 02/04/2021 inspected a number of road projects and new axes in eastern Cairo, including the 16-lane Adly Mansour Axis.
The new axis connects the Ismailia Desert Road, Belbes, and Eastern Cairo with northern and western Cairo and Qalubiya governorate as well as axes of Tahya Misr and Dabaa and Alexandria Desert Road, President Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
Sisi was briefed on the development works in the vicinity of Cairo Airport and the expansion of Abd El-Hameed Badawi street to be six lanes on each side.
During his inspection tour, the president discussed with officials and workers at the construction sites about the projects' details, calling for abiding by the highest engineering standards and the workers' safety by implementing precautionary measures.
