Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal asserted the vital role of the Graduate Employment Body affiliated to Cairo governorate in qualifying young people and creating new job opportunities for them as well as supporting small enterprises and women breadwinners.
Abdel Aal also pointed out that the Graduate Employment Body organizes several training programs to help women breadwinners start small enterprises as part of Women's economic empowerment, one of the national strategic pivots of women empowerment 2030, which is much promoted by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Moreover, the governor said that the governorate is cooperating with different authorities and civil society organizations to implement the "Decent life" initiative launched by President El-Sisi to support women breadwinners, widows, and divorced women.
The governor added that those training courses help integrate women into society by contributing to the labor market as the trainees participate in the exhibitions held by the Employment Body to display and market their products.
Furthermore, the governor said that Employment Body holds free-of-charge training courses to train women in several crafts, including sewing, embroidery, carpentry, and painting at the vocational training centers affiliated to the body in El-Salam and Manshiet Nasr suburbs.
