Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi received on Monday a phone call from the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, in which he congratulated the Egyptian president on the occasion of the holy Islamic month of Ramadan, Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Rady said in a statement.
“The president expressed, during the call, his thanks to the emir of Qatar for his congratulation, praying to Allah Almighty to [bless] this occasion for the peoples of the two brotherly countries and all Arab and Islamic peoples with welfare, prosperity, and blessings,” the spokesperson added.
