Seven Egyptians were among the winners of the 24th edition of Sharjah Award for Arab Creativity for the years of 2020 and 2021.
The award covers the fields of poetry, short story, novel, theater, children's literature and literary criticism.
The prize, which targets young Arab people, goes to manuscripts prepared for the first edition of the writer; which were not previously published in a book.
It comes as part of the Ruler of Sharjah's efforts to support talented writers in the UAE and the greater Arab world.
