Egypt reported 532 new coronavirus cases on Sunday bringing the total infection tally officially to 277,288 since the outbreak began in February 2020.
The health ministry also reported 30 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 15,859.
The statement said that 456 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 205,613.
