President Abdel
Fatah al-Sisi inaugurated on Monday tens of roads and bridges eastern Cairo
connecting Misr Al Gadida neighborhood with 10th of Ramadan City,
Cairo-Isamiliyah Road, Shorouk City, New Cairo City, and Downtown with the aim
of resolving the heavy traffic problem.
President Sisi urged the introduction of smart traffic systems sending alerts
to drivers to slow their speed and inform them about violations once committed.
The president named key road eastern Cairo after Minister of State for Military
Production Mohamed al-Assar.
