The National Election Authority (NEA) will hold a news
conference on Sunday to announce the results of the 1st and 2nd phases of the
2020 parliamentary elections.
The press conference will take place at 4:00 p.m. at the Radio and Television
Maspero building on the Nile Corniche in Cairo.
In a statement on Saturday, NEA Chairman Ibrahim Lashin said that all
ballot-counting operations were accurately audited, expat votes added and
candidates' grievances resolved.
He noted that the NEA is the only official body authorized to declare the final
election results.
