Gamea said Monday the Coronavirus crisis affirmed the need for technology and
its applications for achieving economic growth and going ahead with projects
and online sales.
In statements while launching the "digital future initiative"
organized by the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce in cooperation
with Microsoft and Fiber Misr Systems companies, the minister called for
depending on technological applications to get good government and private
services, a matter that would help curb the impact of COVID-19 spread.
She said the digital transformation initiative aimed also at enabling small and
medium companies in Egypt to cope with modern technology to spread services via
internet and technological applications.
