In the First step of its kind, Cairo governorate placed posters on illegal buildings to warn citizens from dealing with some buildings violating the construction regulations.
On the other hand, Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal said that September 30th is the deadline for submitting applications for reconciliation on building violations, warning that all the legal and executive actions would be taken against violators who did not apply for reconciliation.
He also pointed out that all state's bodies are doing their best to facilitate procedures of reconciliation on building violations, directing districts' chiefs to remove all obstacles facing citizens during submission of the reconciliation applications, with no tolerance towards any illegal buildings.
