The Cabinet's Information and
Decision Support Center (IDSC) on Tuesday 20/10/2020 published an infographic
showing that Egypt was placed third in the Middle East and North Africa in the
IMD World Digital Competitiveness ranking issued by the European Center for
Digital Competitiveness in September 2020.
According to the Digital Riser Report 2020, scoring 114 points, Egypt came in the third position after Saudi Arabia and Algeria.
The report highlighted Egypt's achievements in the fields of digital competitiveness from 2017 to 2019.
Among those achievements were the Under-construction City of Knowledge at the New Administrative Capital (NAC) and the first digital city in Port Said.
