Housing, Utilities & Urban communities Minister Assem El-Gazar and Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal held on Tuesday an expanded meeting to follow up on the ongoing development projects in Cairo, including Maspero Project, Magra El-Oyoun Fence project, Masr Al-Qadima project, and Rawdet Al-Sayeda 2 project.
During the meeting, El-Gazar reviewed the implementation of the towers of the Maspero Triangle area. The project consists of an underground garage, a ground floor (commercial), a garage on the first floor, and two residential towers. Each consists of 18 floors with a total of 468 apartments.
El-Gazar added that they also discussed Magra El-Oyoun Fence's development project that includes residential units, shopping mall, restaurants, cafeterias, and bazars. He also pointed out that they also checked on the demolition of dilapidated buildings in Rawdet Al-Sayeda 2.
Moreover, the minister stressed the necessity to speed up the implementation of those projects, assuring that all the development projects aim at restoring Cairo's cultural and touristic role and providing citizens with a modern and urban environment consistent with the economic revival and development that the country is witnessing currently.
