Egypt's cabinet issues decrees on bad weather, Black Friday, governmental headquarters

In its weekly meeting, the Cabinet issued decrees on bad weather, Black Friday, and governmental headquarters.

The Cabinet granted the governors the authority to suspend the operation of schools in occurrence of bad weather, if needed.

Madbouli clarified that rainwater mainly amassed in slums, which proves the state's righteousness about providing the dwellers of those areas with alternative fully-furnished residential units in planned housing projects free of charge.

The Cabinet ordered the shutdown of stores that do not abide by COVID-19 preventive measures on Black Friday for three days.

The Cabinet urged the total evacuation of governmental headquarters after the government moves to the New Administrative Capital mid-2021.

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli praised the smooth voting process that took place last week during the second phase of balloting in 2020 House of Representative Elections thanking all institutions involved.
