The Egyptian Ministry of
Health affirmed allocating separate places and routes inside hospitals for
patients, which are different from the routes allocated for coronavirus
(COVID-19) patients.
Earlier, Health Minister Hala Zayed affirmed that Egypt has passed the first wave of the novel virus, as Egypt has been recording a decreasing number of cases.
Concerning the state’s efforts in dealing with the new coronavirus, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi earlier said that the country has achieved great success in facing the COVID-19 crisis, saying “the crisis was not severe, and the rates [of infection] were improved.”
He called upon the people to be pay attention to avoid the infection, in order to reach a zero infection nationwide.
Prime Minster Mustafa Madbouly said that the country is seeking to reach zero-coronavirus cases in the coming period, he added during a Wednesday Cabinet meeting that all precautionary measures should be taken including wearing facemasks, using sterilizers along with regular temperature measurement.
He explained that all these measures are necessary to keep low curve of the infections.
