Minister
of Health Hala Zayed on Tuesday received Chinese Ambassador here Liao Liqiang.
The two sides discussed clinical tests for the third phase of coronavirus
vaccine now taking place in Egypt, said Health Ministry Spokesman Khaled
Megahed.
The meeting took up the results of Egyptian-Chinese cooperation in producing
the vaccine after proving its validity, added the spokesman.
The minister confirmed that the vaccine will be available for all Egyptians
according to directives by the World Health Organization, said the spokesman.
The Chinese ambassador lauded efforts by the Egyptian Health Ministry for
confronting the virus, added the spokesman.
