Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on Friday was briefed on the status of the reservation of the third phase of the industrial investment map as well the activities of the committee on managing the use of state's real estate assets.
This came during a meeting with Director of the National Center for Planning
State Land Use (NCPSLU) Lt. Gen. Nasser Fawzy who said that the number of
reserved units till July 7- in the governorates of Sahrqiya, Kafr El Sheikh,
Minya, Assuit, Luxor, Alexandria, Ismailia, Gharbia, Cairo, New Valley, Port
Said and Qena – has reached 193 out of the 639 tendered units.
The number of third phase investors recorded 399 with a reservation rate of 30
percent reported so far, Fawzy added, the number of state assets assigned to
the NCPSLU has reached 1,598 assets, out of which 137 assets have been approved
by the president, Fawzy said.
He added that the endorsement of 130 assets are underway along with studies
that are being carried out on 1,331 assets.
